At the service of individuals, healthcare institutions and companies, Mooven was born from a simple ambition: to help everyone move better for a better life.
We have been doing this since 1991 by inventing the first physical activity sessions for children with cancer, composed of motor games and programmes adapted to specific pathologies, as well as to restrictive environments. The solution was there: not to impose movement but to find the right one that feels good according to the state of health, the degree of isolation and the time constraints of each patient.
Encouraged by these initial results, we created in 2004 the V@Si activity sessions through video, so that we could intervene immediately and regularly where and when necessary. This was followed by programmes adapted to all pathologies, the opening of a training centre, the launch of the SAPATIC Games for sick children and the implementation of sessions adapted to companies.
EXPERTS BUT ABOVE ALL
Mooven brings together about thirty qualified employees actively involved in the fields of Adapted Physical Activities, practical theories of the body and methods of adapting sport to specific needs. Researchers, engineers, teachers… All have studied for 3 to 8 years.
COMMITTED ACTORS IN THE SOCIAL AND SOLIDARITY
Through our activities, we also wish to contribute to the creation of social links for dependent, sedentary and elderly people, who are too often isolated. Because, beyond the health benefits, our physical activity sessions are always an opportunity to share a privileged moment, full of emotion to rediscover the desire to go towards others.
On the corporate side, we are also developing numerous partnerships, particularly in clinical research, to advance the state of scientific knowledge in the field of drug-free interventions.
